This subteam collaborates with some statistical journals to review reproducibility materials of submitted manuscripts. When appropriate, Editors and Associate Editors of participating journals can assign the task of reviewing reproducibility materials (e.g., code) to a reviewer from our database. The list of those reproducibility reviewers is only accessible by the editorial board of participating journals.
For editorial teams of participating journals, please discuss the review scope specifically with a candidate reproducibility reviewer. For example, this person will serve as the third reviewer to review only reproducibility materials, or as one of the two typical reviewers to review both scientific content and reproducibility materials. Once the review scope is confirmed, please assign the review task to this reproducibility reviewer via the peer-review system.
